Intensive Care Nurse New

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location: Peterborough, New Hampshire

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Schedule: 36 hours per week (3 shifts), rotating weekends

Employment Type: Permanent

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (paid in installments: $5,000 in first paycheck, $2,500 after 6 months, $2,500 after 1 year)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate professional nursing care for patients in a critical care setting. This role requires independent judgment within accepted nursing practices and hospital standards, ensuring continuity of care and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in an ICU/step-down environment.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform injections/vaccinations.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively.
• Float to Med-Surg and ICU units as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ANA standards.
• Participate in orientation, training, and policy updates.

Requirements

• Current RN license in New Hampshire or Compact State.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA).
• Minimum one year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• ICU and telemetry experience required.
• Strong rhythm recognition or basic arrhythmia skills.
• Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and direct others.
• No new graduates accepted.

Preferred

• PCCN or CCRN certification.
• PALS certification recommended.
